Insurance claim forms, without the retyping
For SMART repairers who take work from insurers and work providers: upload the claim forms, check what the app has read, and book the jobs. The price and the paperwork stay between you and the insurer.

From claim form to booked job
Every claim form used to mean typing the same details again. The Smart App reads them for you.
- Upload PDFs, screenshots or phone photos of the claim forms you receive, several at once if you like, and give them all to one technician and day as Jobs 1, 2 and 3.
- The customer, car, claim number and work are filled in wherever the app can find them on the form.
- Anything it couldn’t read is highlighted, so the office knows exactly what to check and type.
- Duplicates are caught. The same form as an open job, or a claim number already on an open job, is skipped. One that matches a finished job goes in with a warning, so the office can check it.
- A priced line the form marks as not SMART repairable, or needing a bodyshop, is set aside as a return straight away. Other remarks on the form go into the office notes for you to check.
- Book it like any other job: a technician, a day and a time, with the job sent straight to their phone.
Insurance customers never see a price
The customer is the insurer’s customer. The Smart App treats them that way.
Booked and reminded
Insurance customers can still get a booking confirmation and a reminder the day before, in your colours, with no prices in them.
Signed off on the phone
The customer checks the repair and signs the satisfaction form on your technician’s phone, or accepts it with conditions. No prices are shown to them.
Paperwork kept for the insurer
The invoice, the price, the photos and the signed paperwork aren’t sent to the customer. They stay with you, for the insurer.
Everything the insurer needs
Invoices to the insurer
Invoices made out to the insurer with the claim number, as signed PDFs carrying your logo and details.
Before and After photos
A Before and an After photo for each repair, kept with the job and ready to download as one zip file.
Work that can’t be repaired
Marked with the reason, shown as no charge on the invoice, and kept on a Returns list until you’ve phoned it through.
Figures by insurer
Statistics by week, by technician and by insurer or dealer, built from finished jobs.
Questions about insurance work
Which claim forms can it read?
PDFs, screenshots and phone photos (JPEG or PNG) of claim forms. A scanned PDF that’s only a picture can’t be read, so upload a photo or screenshot of it instead. It reads the customer, car, claim number and work wherever it can find them, and anything it couldn’t read is highlighted for the office to type. Send us a few of the forms you receive during your trial and we’ll check how well they read.
Will the customer see what we charge the insurer?
No. Insurance customers are booked in, reminded and sign the satisfaction form on the phone, but they never get the invoice, the price, the photos or a copy of the paperwork.
What if a claim form comes in twice?
The same form as an open job is skipped, and so is a claim number that’s already on an open job. If a finished job has the same claim number, the new job goes in with a warning when it’s uploaded and on the job’s own page, so the office can check it before anyone drives out.
Can we use our own disclaimer wording?
Yes. The satisfaction form’s wording is yours to edit, and on insurance jobs it names the job’s own insurer.
We do private and dealer work too. Is that a problem?
No. Insurance, private and dealer or trade jobs all run through the same jobs board. Only insurance jobs keep the price away from the customer.
